Applicable Regulations
The client i.e. the domain name holder approves the applicability of the China Internet Domain Name Regulations
(https://cnnic.com.cn/PublicS/fwzxxgzcfg/201710/t20171026_69608.htm)
as well as the CNNIC Implementing Rules of Domain Name Registration
(https://cnnic.com.cn/PublicS/fwzxxgzcfg/201208/t20120830_35735.htm)
and binds himself to pay attention to and comply with the stipulations contained therein. Should the above-mentioned provisions be infringed
the client i.e. the domain name holder shall exempt the Registry CNNIC (China Internet Network Information Center) from every disadvantage
that might arise from that infringement.
The client is particularly aware that according to Art. 22 of the CNNIC Implementing Rules of Domain Name, their provisions shall be
interpreted and construed only by CNNIC. Furthermore, he has taken notice of the penal provisions under Art. 30 to 32 of the
China Internet Domain Name Regulations.

Restrictions
The registering of domains under the Top Level Domain .cn can only be applied for by companies which are duly registered in
accordance with their respective legislation and which can assume responsibility under civil law by virtue of their legal personality (legal entities).
Details pertaining to the restrictions are to be inferred from Art. 4 of the CNNIC Implementing Rules of Domain Name Registration

Data transmission
a. The client i.e. the domain name holder is obliged to communicate correct data in compliance with item 5 c of the
General Terms and Conditions of Business and Registering. Besides, the client has the possibility to communicate any comments
on the .cn Domain in order to be published in the WHOIS databank. He assures that the data he gave are correct.
Should the given data be false or should they not be proof corrected by the contact person whose name appears in the WHOIS
database within 5 days following the request of the Registry CNNIC to do so, this will be considered as a breach of contract.
b. The client agrees that the Registry CNNIC of Domains under the Top Level Domain .cn as well as its employees and
representatives are entitled to use, copy, publish or process otherwise personal data given by the client himself in order
to meet the contractual purposes that are incumbent on it.
The provision of the item 10 of the General Terms and Conditions of Business and Registering is herewith unaffected (secrecy
/ data protection).

Disputes arising from domains
a. If a client i.e. a domain name holder reserves or registers a cn. Domain, he then declares to agree with following procedure:

The CNNIC Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy, which can be retrieved under

represents the basis for any settlement of disputes relating to domain names.

The proceedings follow the rules for CNNIC Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy, which are to be retrieved under
https://cnnic.com.cn/PublicS/fwzxxgzcfg/201907/t20190726_70774.htm,
in connection with the Supplemental Rules of the Domain Name Dispute Resolution Provider, that can be viewed f.e. under
http://www.china.org.cn/business/2010-01/20/content_19276440.htm.
According to Art. 7 (3) of the CNNIC Implementing Rules of Domain Name Registration should a dispute concerning a domain arise these
rules are imperatively applicable. These arbitration proceedings can be only conducted by the Dispute Resolution Service Providers,
that are acknowledged and appointed by the CNNIC.
In accordance with Art. 14 of the CNNIC Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy and in respect of the matter in dispute the client i.e.
the domain name holder can prior to, during or after the arbitration proceedings, also have recourse to a Chinese court of general
jurisdiction at the domicile of the Registry CNNIC or have recourse to a Chinese arbitration court.
b. In compliance with Art. 18 of the CNNIC Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy the Registry CNNIC is entitled to amend the rules of the
Policy with a prior notice of 30 days i.e. that these new rules can be implemented 30 calendar days after the notification. If the client
i.e. the domain name holder does not agree with these modifications he is obliged to immediately notify the Registry. The Registrar will
then continue the domain name services for the client for the next 30 calendar days following the notification and after expiry of the
time limit, will cancel the client's relevant domain name registration.
c. The domain name holder is not entitled to apply for the transfer or the cancellation of the domain name during the dispute about the
domain name or within the 10 calendar days following the publication of the decision about the matter in dispute unless the transferee
agrees in writing that he/she accepts the decision of the Dispute Resolution Service Provider.

Reservation
CSL GmbH and the Registry CNNIC reserve the right to refuse, cancel or to transfer registrations at their own discretion as far as this is
required in order to maintain the proper activity of the Registry, to comply with legal or government regulations, on the order of the
public prosecutor's office, in compliance with the above-mentioned rules or to avoid any civil or penal liability of CSL GmbH or the
Registry CNNIC or their employees. Furthermore, CSL GmbH and the Registry CNNIC have the right to block a .cn domain during ongoing proceedings.
